While visiting us and spending your stay at Clairvaux Historical Farmhouse there is much to do but nothing is more pleasurable than tantalising the tastebuds. For you, we have compiled a list of our preferred restaurants to wine and dine at, spending hours luxuriating and relaxing.
Four Cousins Restaurant
This family restaurant is set against the backdrop of the beautiful Robertson Wine Valley landscape. This restaurant is walking distance from our farmhouse. The tantalising menu caters to a variety of tastebuds from fine dining, vegan and gluten free options to a menu set for the little ones. There is much to do, the property offers a wine tasting room, an on-site brewery and a play area to keep the youngsters entertained.
Christina’s Bistro @ Van Loveren
This is our favoured spot to devour a delicious breakfast on a lazy Sunday morning. In the afternoon while sipping on a glass of wine and enjoying the menu, local musicians gather to perform, what a lovely way to spend your Sunday. All the ingredients are locally sourced and freshly prepared. The restaurant specialises in thinly-crusted, wood-fired pizzas, gourmet burgers and a variety of seasonal chef's specialities.
The Small Restaurant
This is one of our preferred venues for a scrumptious fine dining experience. The Small Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner but you’ll have to make a booking. A classic menu with refined seasonal dishes prepared with locally sourced fresh produce is to be enjoyed, both inside the Manor House or on the patio beside the hotel gardens.
Café Maude Restaurant
This is one of our favourite breakfast or lunch spots in the area. Visitors come to Bon Courage Estate, not only for the exquisite wines, but also to enjoy a delicious meal. The menu boasts delicious breakfasts, fresh salads and sandwiches with a twist. Enjoy the morning surrounded with natural splendour and a cup of coffee.

This is a splendid spot for the visitor who is in search of a contemporary fine dining experience.
